Artisan Economics

Whether you're right-wing or left-wing, independent or simply fed-up, we're all Americans...and as Americans we make decisions on our work lives and retail habits, for the most part, based on things other than politics.  Check out this article from New York Times author Thomas Friedman, arguing that the solution to the new economy will arise from a very old concept:  the artisan.

Consider the nurse or health care can pay less or farm it out to China, and you might get the basic or average service provided, but you won't get the intangibles needed for quality health care, the type of intangibles an artisan provides which lead to a better physical and psychological quality of life for the patient.  Explore Media partners with some of Northern Indiana's best health care providers who get this concept, and they have better stories to tell, and better health care video productions as a result.
