Go RVing TV Ad for NFL and College Football Broadcast Produced by Explore Media

Keep your eyes peeled during primetime football games this fall to catch the “Home Field Advantage” ad for Go RVing, produced and edited by Explore Media. The ad is set to air during both college and professional games on several networks.

The :30 lifestyle spot portrays two families who use their RVs to tailgate before the big game, creating a home base for eating, socializing, and relaxing. Filmed on location in 2016, the video utilizes the authenticity of real people and their love of tailgating in their “home away from home” and fits in with the current Go RVing Away campaign.

The spot was helmed by director Jeremy Pinckert, who says about the ad, “Go RVing is all about showing unique ways RVs can be utilized to create lifestyle experiences, so for this spot I wanted to create a sensory experience for viewers. We used a marching band drumline as the music track, you can hear the sizzle of bacon on the griddle and experience other sounds like people laughing as they’re playing lawn games."

Visually we wanted to show not only scenes of fans prepping for the big game inside and outside the RV, but we also worked to help viewers get the sense of togetherness and family that happens after the game, as these magical moments happen when people sit around in a circle and tell stories under the low light of Edison bulbs.
