The Continuing RED Saga Part: Two

On my quest to unlock the secrets of editing RED footage I had to explore the concepts of using proxies for editing. One of my goals was to get footage from Final Cut to Adobe After Effects. I found the answer to be rather simple. Use an XML scrip out of Final Cut Pro then convert the XML to JSX using this simple conversion software. You will save loads of time using this method because there is no rendering involved and it works with any type of footage (including RED). Just make sure your initial XML output from FCP is version 1.
