"Helping Businesses” Wins Silver Telly

In the latest 2023 installment of the Telly Awards, Explore Productions won a Silver Telly for a live-action commercial campaign for a regional bank. Produced for 1st Source Bank, “Helping Businesses” is an extension of the highly effective “We Can Help” campaign. This latest installment had a singular intended demographic: the business decision-maker looking for help in many facets of their business.

We are thankful for collaborative partners like we have with 1st Source who trust us to take their message seriously, but also allow us to have fun with it.
— Jeremy Pinckert, Explore Founder

Contracted directly between the production company and the in-house agency at 1st Source, the Explore team brought together a cast of envelope-licking, box-carrying, suit and shorts dancing, credit-card-swiping characters to bring the everyday frustrations of small business owners to life.

Helping Businesses

Jeremy Pinckert, director of “Helping Businesses” and Explore CEO / Founder, shared that, “We are so thankful for collaborative partners at in-house agencies like we have with 1st Source Bank. They trust us to take their message seriously, but also are confident enough in their brand to have fun with the messaging.”

“We Can Help” first debuted during the summer of 2021 after a pandemic-induced hold on location shooting had them pushing to complete production in time to debut during the Tokyo Summer Olympics Opening Ceremony. The campaign since then has seen enormous success for 1st Source Bank, resulting in not only multiple industry awards, but delivering assets in broadcast commercials, OTT, streaming, digital advertising, bank branch digital signage, print, website, and even an old fashioned door hangar segment.
